Foodie’s with Trellis Winery
We were joined by winemaker Luke Houlihan from Trellis Winery on Monday Night for our Foodie’s evening.
Luke and his business partner, and grower, Greg Dunnett joined forces in 2007 to transform Yarra Valley’s Trellis Winery.
Combining their knowledge and attention to detail, the pair have battled through extreme, and variable, weather conditions to produce a consistently outstanding range of wines.
Luke brought us a fantastic selection of wines to sample including the vineyard’s 2013 Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and a 2012 Syrah.
The Pinot Noir was bright and fruity with earthy undertones that matched kitchen’s Chimichurri chicken thighs with a roast pumpkin, pinenut and spinach medley.
